Prince William praises Nam’s conservation efforts

BRITAIN’S prince William, the duke of Cambridge, praised Namibia’s conservation efforts as he arrived in the country yesterday on a two-day visit.

The duke met vice president Nangolo Mbumba and environment minister Pohamba Shifeta at the old State House in Windhoek.

During his brief stay in the country, he will visit various organisations, such as the Save the Rhino Trust Namibia and the Integrated Rural Development and Nature Conservation to learn about the country’s success stories in conservation.
