The following Rules & Regulations apply to any state-owned Namibian conservation area that requires a Permit.
- Do not leave your car (exceptions apply to e.g. Namib-Naukluft-Park, Daan Viljoen Game Park, Dorob National Park)
- Do not litter
- Fishing and boating is prohibited (e.g. in Bwabwata National Park)
- Do not collect firewood, plants or animals
- Stay on the marked roads
- No pets allowed
- Weapons must be registered and sealed
- No use of drones allowed
- Entrance only from sunrise until sunset (exceptions apply to e.g. Daan Viljoen Game Park, Dorob National Park)
- Any other rules stated on the Permit (e.g. a minimum of two vehicles for Khaudum National Park)
