Namibian tourism sector to resume operation on May 5

Namibia’s tourism and hospitality industry will be allowed to resume operations after the country enters the second stage of its national lockdown on May 5, the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism said Thursday.

Namibia’s COVID-19 lockdown began in late March, with the government recently announcing a four-stage response plan with the aim of easing the lockdown.
