Coastal tourism breathes sigh of relief

Tour operators and vendors at Walvis Bay have hope that the December holidays could start off on a good note for their livelihoods.

This came to light after the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security yesterday announced that four of Namibia’s border posts would be open for travel with immediate effect. This includes the Katima Mulilo, Ariamsvlei and Noord­oewer border posts, and the Walvis Bay harbour.
