International relations minister Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has encouraged heads of diplomatic missions assigned to Namibia to explore the country, saying it is a vast country with cities, towns and villages that are all unique in their own special way.
“Windhoek is, therefore, not Namibia,” she said while addressing heads of diplomatic missions yesterday.
“I implore you to become tourists so that by the time you come to pay me a farewell courtesy visit, you will be able to teach me something about the tourism potential of Namibia.”According to Nandi-Ndaitwah, everyone has seen that the world is becoming more open as a result of several significant inbound and outbound trade missions that have taken place in the first half of this year.
